Clio Herbert

Clio Herbert is a French/American jeweler, metalsmith and artist currently working in New York City. She holds a BFA from California College of the Arts with a major in Jewelry and Metal Arts and a minor in Visual Studies. Her work is guided by a fascination with the concept of bodily adornment, and the relationship of jewelry to the wearer. Combined with personal interests in the tensions of interpersonal relationships, she creates sculptural pieces of adornment inherently requiring the body to be activated.
